Penguin Fun

Hello everyone,

A few weeks ago I came across Squirrel's World of Craft blog and her fun Great Penguin Challenge.  I have loads of penguin stamps and thought it would be fun to join in. This LOTV penguin stamp 'snow cute' is one of my favourites - really sweet image and quick and easy to colour, which is a bonus when it comes to creating masses of Christmas cards :)

Supplies:
Paper - Pink Petticoat Large snowflakes
Stamp - LOTV Snow Cute
Sentiment - LOTV Christmas Wishes
Large Snowflake - Simon Says Ashlynn Snowflake
Small Snowflakes - Memory Box Crystalline Border

I coloured Mr Penguin with my copics and used glossy accents on his nose.  I added some glitter glue to the ground and to the sentiment.  I love using glitter on my Christmas cards.

Hello Autumn

Hi,

Hope everyone has had a great Sunday.

I would like to share a card I made today for the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I love this sketch by Karren  and was excited at the prospect of using my newly purchased MFT tag dies.

There are a lot of beautiful Autumn/Fall cards on show in blogland at the moment and it inspired me to make my first one!  Now some keen eyed amongst you will notice that I live in Australia and it is actually coming into spring here!  However being a Scottish girl I always associate this time of year with Autumn, and I don't think that will ever change!

 Supplies:
Lawn Fawn Into the Woods Clear Stamps
Lawn Fawn Into the Woods paper
MFT Pierced Traditional Tag Stax
Doodlebug Tangerine Sprinkles
Simon says Ink Pads - Lipstick Red, Sunshine, Orange Peel, Green Apple, Dark Chocolate
Simon Says Woodgrain Cardstock

I seem to have a thing for cute stamps at the moment and love this little fox. I coloured him in with my copics. Here is a close up of the tag:

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Special Delivery

Hi everyone,

Hope your having a lovely weekend.

I would like to share a card with you today that I made for a friend who had a beautiful baby boy a few weeks ago.  I had the pleasure of meeting him today and he had way more hair than this wee one!

I absolutely love this stamp from LOTV, its called New Arrival, and is so cute!! I decided to keep the card simple with focus on the main image.  I added some hessian in the background to give the card more warmth and texture. I accented the image with some wooden stars and coloured the image with copics.

Here is a close up:

Supplies:
Nitwits - Winter Wishes Paper
LOTV - New Arrival Stamp
Clearly Besotted - Sweet Little Sentiments - new baby
Studio Calico - wooden stars
Kraft Card and Hessian - from stash

Christmas Owl

Hi, I'm back crafting again :)  I've now settled back into 'normal' life after spending three months travelling overland in Africa from Ethiopia to Victoria Falls.  It was an amazing experience!

But now the countdown to Christmas is on.  I thought it was time to start on my favourite type of card -christmas cards- yay!  I used the sketch from freshly made sketches and some Lawn Fawn goodies.

Supplies: Cuttlebug snowfall embossing folder
BoBunny Elf Magic 6x6 pad
BoBunny Mistletoe 6x6 pad
Lawn Fawn Winter Owl Clear Stamp
Lawn Fawn Into the Woods Clear Stamp - Branch

I love this owl - so cute. I coloured the image with copics and fuzzy cut him out.  The branch was stamped using Simon Says Dark Chocolate Ink Pad.  I would like to enter this card into Lawnscaping Challenge Critters Galore and Sweet Stampin' Christmas Critters

Thanks for looking, have a great monday evening.
