Reluctant Flower

Hi there,

Happy Friday to everyone, thanks so much for popping by.
Do you ever have one of these days where you try and made a card and everything seems to go wrong! This is what happened with this one and I nearly threw out! IT started with the colouring and snowballed from there but as the idea was originally inspired by some challenges and after spending a few hours trying to salvage it, I should keep it!

I was inspired by the following challenges:

The Paper Players tic tac toe challenge - flowers, die-cut and twine.

The  Color Throwdown Challenge for this gorgeous colour combo - I love it.

And  Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for the classic layout.

This card also fits nicely with the current Cupcake Inspirations Challenge - Floral

Here is what I ended up making!

 Supplies:
Clearly Besotted Digital Image - Free with a PaperCrafting Mag a long time ago
MFT Die-namics - Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1
WPlus 9 Die-Cut - Sunshine Layers
Lil' Inker Designs - Stitched Mats Ovals
Neenah Cardstock - Desert Storm
PaperTrey Ink Impresssion Plate - Canvas
My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots - Presh Noted
Doodlebug Designs Enamel Dots - Tangerine
Natural Twine

Thanks so much for popping by. I am looking forward to a more productive crafting weekend.
Hugs Ax

  3. What a lovely, simple card. The flower pops fantastically against the white and kraft, and the twine and enamel dots finish it off beautifully. Thank you for joining us at Cupcake Inspirations - Charlotte/Lady Joyful, DT
